Wellbeing week at Résonance, in brief
During France's Semaine pour la qualité de vie et les conditions de travail (the national workplace wellbeing week), we run sessions at your offices or welcome your teams to the studio in the 16th for group sound baths. The format is one sentence long: participants lie down, covered, and let the gong, the bowls and the chimes carry them. No special clothing, no skill, no speaking up. Allow 45 minutes to 2 hours, up to 40 people per slot, and from €750 per session. Most companies schedule several slots across the day so every team can come through.
- 40participants per slot
- 3–4possible sessions a day
- €750from, per session
- 0equipment for you to arrange
Why this format
Why a sound bath works well during wellbeing week
Most wellbeing workshops ask something of participants: to talk, to play, to reveal a little of themselves. The sound bath asks nothing. You lie down, you close your eyes, and that's it. The most reluctant people are often the ones who talk about it most afterwards.
It's also a format that excludes nobody: no ability level, no physical condition, no sports kit. An entire team can take part without anyone feeling out of place.
- Nothing for staff to prepare, no clothing, no equipment
- A short format that slots in between two meetings
- Accessible to complete beginners, which is what most participants are
- No medical promises: we talk about rest and release, not treatment
How a day is organised
A typical run-through, to be adjusted to your premises and the number of teams coming through.
| Stage | What happens | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Set-up | We arrive, assemble the instruments and prepare the room | 20–30 min |
| Welcome | A few words on what's coming, settling participants in | 5–10 min |
| Immersion | Gong, bowls and chimes; everyone stays lying down | 30–60 min |
| Coming back | Gradual return, time to integrate, questions | 10 min |
| Next slot | Resetting the room between two groups | 20 min |

After wellbeing week
A successful wellbeing week raises a question: what about the rest of the year? Companies that carry it on generally choose regular sessions, once or twice a month, at the office. That's the format that genuinely builds a ritual rather than a memory. For a one-off centrepiece, look instead at the off-sites and retreats, or private hire of the studio for a small leadership team.
