One-to-one sessions in Paris 16

An hour one to one, entirely yours. Two formats: a personalised sound immersion, or a sound massage with bowls placed on the body.

One-to-one sessions in brief

A one-to-one session is an appointment of around an hour with Zahra, at 26 rue de Bassano, in the 16th. Two formats, depending on what you're after: a personalised sound immersion, where the session adapts to your day, and a sound massage with Tibetan bowls, more tactile, where the bowls are placed on the body while you stay clothed. It's the most personalised form of sound therapy in Paris, more intimate than the group gong bath. Expect from €95.

Two one-to-one formats

The setup is the same: a quiet room, an hour for you, no experience required. What changes is how much contact there is with the instrument.

Individual sound immersion

A personalised session combining gongs, Tibetan bowls, vibrational instruments and time to integrate afterwards. You stay lying down, covered; the session is built from what you need that day. This is the one to choose if what you want above all is deep rest, in a setting that adapts to you.

From €95 · around 1 hr

Sound massage with Tibetan bowls

A more body-centred experience: the Tibetan bowls are placed on you, clothed, and struck on and around the body. The vibration travels through the tissues, nothing to do, you receive. Choose this if you want to feel the sound physically rather than only hear it.

€95 · around 60 min

Not sure? Write to us via the contact page describing what you're looking for and we'll point you the right way. For two, see the duo session instead.

How it runs

What happens in a private session?

First, we talk. A few minutes is enough: your sleep, how tired you are, what you're carrying at the moment. That short conversation is what steers the session. Then you lie down, covered and settled, and the immersion begins: gong, bowls, chimes, weighted towards whatever will do you good. Some sessions are wide and enveloping; others more tactile, closer to a sound massage with Tibetan bowls.

There's nothing for you to manage. You listen, you breathe at your own pace, and you let the vibration do its work. The session closes with a gradual return and a stretch of silence before you meet the street again. If you'd like to share the experience, the duo session does exactly this, for two.

  • Conversation. A few minutes on your sleep, your tiredness, what you're going through.
  • Immersion. Gong, bowls and chimes, weighted towards whatever will do you good.
  • Coming back. A stretch of silence before you meet the street again.

Frequently asked questions about private sessions

What is a private session at Résonance?
It's a one-to-one session of around an hour with Zahra, where everything is built around you alone. Unlike the group gong bath, you don't share the room with anyone: the pace, the instruments and the attention are entirely yours. It's the most personalised form of sound therapy in Paris.
How much does a private session in Paris cost?
The one-to-one session starts at €95. If you come regularly, the formats and cards on the pricing page let you spread your visits. To share the experience with someone, see the duo session at €135.
In what way is it personalised?
We start with a short conversation: how tired you are, how you're sleeping, what's weighing on you at the moment. The session follows from that: more gong or more bowls, a long immersion or something more tactile like a sound massage. Nothing is fixed in advance; that's the difference from a group session.
How long does a session last?
Around an hour: the conversation on arrival, the sound immersion, then time to come back before you leave. Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to settle in at 26 rue de Bassano, in the 16th.
Who is the private session for?
For anyone who prefers a more intimate setting, who is new to this and wants to be guided step by step, or who is going through a heavy stretch and is after real rest. No experience is needed. The session adjusts to you, whether it's your first or your fiftieth.
Is this medical treatment or therapy?
No. It's a wellbeing practice centred on sensory rest and stress regulation. It can support difficult sleep or a tense period, but it doesn't diagnose, doesn't cure illness, and doesn't replace medical or psychological care.
Are there any contraindications?
Working with sound is not advised if you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, severe hearing conditions or hearing implants, psychosis that isn't currently stable, and during the first trimester of pregnancy or from the eighth month. If you're unsure, check with your doctor. The detail is on the safety & care page.

There's something rare about giving yourself an hour in which nobody expects anything of you. No performance, no group to keep up with. Just you, lying down, and the sound taking care of the rest. When you're ready, the door at 26 rue de Bassano is open.
