Terms and conditions of sale
These terms govern the booking and purchase of our sessions and formats. They're deliberately plain: what's included, how to book, and what happens if you cancel.

This English text is provided for information. Résonance is a French business and these are French consumer-law terms: the French version, conditions générales de vente, is the version that has legal effect, and it prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of the sessions, cards, memberships and gift cards offered by Résonance Sound & Healing, whether on the site resonancehealing.fr, through the online booking system or directly at the studio. Any booking or purchase implies full acceptance of these terms. Résonance reserves the right to amend them at any time; the applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.

Résonance offers sound experiences in Paris 16: group sound baths and gong baths, one-to-one private sessions, sound massages with Tibetan bowls, duo sessions, along with private hire and corporate sessions. Added to these are the multi-session passes, the unlimited membership and the gift card.
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Under article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, VAT is not applicable. The prices in force are those displayed on the pricing page at the time of the order. Résonance reserves the right to change its prices at any time, it being understood that the price applied is the one in force at the time of booking.
4. Booking and payment
Sessions are booked through the online booking system or, failing that, by email or phone. A booking is only final once payment has been taken: payment is made on confirmation of the order, using the payment methods offered (principally bank card). A confirmation is then sent by email, together with the practical details (address, time, access).
As places in group sessions are limited (a group of no more than seven), we encourage you to book ahead. If a session is unavailable or is cancelled by Résonance, the customer is informed as soon as possible and offered either a new date or a full refund of the session concerned.
5. Cancellation and changes by the customer
Any rescheduling or cancellation initiated by the customer must reach us at least 24 hours before the session start time. Within that framework:
- More than 24 hours before the session: any cancellation or rescheduling request is accepted free of charge.
- Less than 24 hours before the session: the session remains payable and cannot be refunded or moved, except in exceptional circumstances and at Résonance's discretion.
- Not turning up (no-show): the session is charged in full; where it was paid for using a session card, the corresponding credit is deducted.
These conditions apply equally to sessions paid for individually and to those deducted from a card or a membership.
6. Cards and membership
Session cards (group or duo) and the unlimited membership give access to group sessions at a reduced rate. Each card is valid for the period stated at purchase and remains personal to the holder; it cannot be transferred or exchanged for a refund, except under the right of withdrawal described below or where mandatory law provides otherwise. The monthly membership is taken out for a 12-month commitment period, on the terms set out on the membership page.
7. Gift card
The gift card is valid for 6 months from its date of issue. It is sent by email and can be for an amount or for a chosen experience. It can be used in one or several instalments up to its value and is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period: this is the case for sessions booked into a particular slot, which therefore cannot be withdrawn from once the slot has been booked. For other distance purchases carrying a right of withdrawal (for example certain undated cards), you have 14 days in which to exercise that right, unless the service has already been fully performed with your agreement. 9. Contraindications and liability
Our sessions are experiences of relaxation and sensory rest. They constitute neither a medical act nor psychotherapy, and in no way replace medical or psychological care. No promise of a therapeutic or medical result is made.
Certain situations contraindicate taking part in a gong bath (notably epilepsy, a pacemaker, severe hearing conditions or hearing implants, psychosis that isn't currently stable, pregnancy in the first trimester and from the eighth month). The detail is on the safety & care page. By booking, the customer confirms that they have read this information and, if in doubt, undertakes to seek their doctor's advice. It is their responsibility to disclose any particular health condition before the session. Résonance cannot be held liable for any failure to meet that obligation to inform.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact Résonance first in order to seek an amicable solution. Failing amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
11. Personal data
Data collected in connection with a booking or purchase is processed in accordance with our privacy policy (GDPR). The legal information about the site's publisher and host is in the legal notice.
