Welcome table at the Résonance studio: singing bowls, towels and candles at 26 rue de Bassano, Paris 16

The studio · Paris 16

The space

A pared-back, quiet studio at 26 rue de Bassano, a few steps from Trocadéro. You come in from the noise of the city, and leave differently.

The Résonance studio in brief

The studio is at 26 rue de Bassano, 75116 Paris, in the 16th arrondissement, a short walk from Trocadéro and the Champs-Élysées. Sessions are led in English by Zahra, who is bilingual. The room is deliberately plain: soft light, natural materials, few objects, a lot of quiet. Sessions are held in small groups (seven people at most for a group sound bath) alongside the private formats. Access is via metro George V (L1), Iéna or Alma-Marceau (L9), and the RER A at Étoile. The studio is on the ground floor; write to us with anything accessibility-related. Card payment is accepted.

The space

What does the space feel like?

The whole studio is built to do one thing: hold you still for an hour. It's a room, not a set. The walls are calm, the light is low, and the materials are honest ones, wood and linen and stone and metal. Nothing shines and nothing shouts. We stripped out everything that wasn't helping, which left a floor to lie on, blankets, and sound.

That choice isn't only aesthetic. An overloaded space keeps the mind on alert; a stripped-back one gives it permission to let go. It's the same logic as our sessions: we're not trying to impress, we're trying to put the body in the right conditions.

  • Honest materials. wood, linen, stone, metal: nothing shines, nothing shouts.
  • Low light. a room, not a set: everything that wasn't helping is gone.
  • A floor to lie on. blankets, and sound: that's all it takes.

The neighbourhood

A studio in the 16th, between Trocadéro and the Champs-Élysées

The neighbourhood gives the place part of its meaning. The 16th moves fast: head offices, private practices, fashion houses, full calendars. Coming to lie down for an hour in the dark, here, stands out.

Rue de Bassano runs between the Champs-Élysées and avenue Marceau, halfway between the Arc de Triomphe and the Seine. You're a few minutes from place Victor Hugo, from Trocadéro and its gardens, and from the quiet streets of Passy. A lot of people come straight from the office at the end of the day and walk back along the avenues afterwards, which is usually where the calm actually lands. If you're coming for your team, that same central location also serves our corporate wellbeing sessions.

We spent more time taking things out of this place than putting them in. That was deliberate: silence has to be prepared too. Push open the door at 26 rue de Bassano, and you'll see what's left once the noise is removed.
