Gong bath near place Victor Hugo

The settled calm of the avenue, then an hour where you're holding nothing at all. You lie down, the sound takes care of the rest.

A gong bath for the Victor Hugo area

Place Victor Hugo and its avenue make up one of the most settled corners of the 16th: the fountain in the middle, the terraces, the church of Saint-Honoré-d'Eylau, the quiet shops and the plane trees rising towards Étoile. A residential neighbourhood where people take their time. The Résonance studio is close by, at 26 rue de Bassano, one stop from Étoile on line 2. The gong bath lasts around an hour, lying down, from €39, in a group of seven people at most. No experience required.

Getting here

How do I get here from avenue Victor Hugo?

On foot it's a proper walk: down avenue Victor Hugo to place Charles-de-Gaulle, around the Arc de Triomphe, then along avenue Marceau or avenue d'Iéna towards rue de Bassano. Twelve minutes or so, long enough to breathe out before really breathing out. By metro, line 2 links Victor Hugo to Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile in a single stop; from there, ten minutes on foot is enough.

The studio sits near place des États-Unis, on the border of the 16th and the 8th. For opening hours (Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday during the day) and the full access map, see the studio page. A specific question about a slot? The contact page is there.

Who it's for

Who comes, from this neighbourhood?

Mostly residents of the 16th looking for a genuine pause, rather than one more activity.

Executives, freelancers, parents coming once the children are in bed: the common thread is a full calendar. An hour lying in the sound, without a phone, changes the end of the day. If you're coming as a pair, the duo session moves the same thing into a private room; for something more physical, the sound massage with Tibetan bowls is received lying down, one to one. And if you live just around the corner, the unlimited membership quickly becomes a weekly habit.
